I  guess I have acute pleasure, because I  do not feel myself neither productive seamstress, nor as experienced blogger. This public being for me is less than a month old, so this recognition, undeniable, inspire for further works.

Tā kā vienubrīd likās, ka rotaslietas Latvijā izgatavo katra meitene, kas prot kaut nedaudz apieties ar adatu un diegu, man bieži nācās domāt, cik profesionāli tas viss ir vērtējams.

A little bit more about ornaments theme, which I began with the topic of my crochet bracelets. 

Since I thought that jewelry made each Latvian girl who knows a little something how to deal with a needle and thread, I often had to think how professional it all is evaluated.

RUDENS/ FALL

Sākam gatavoties, jau šo ceturtdien iestājās astronomiskais rudens! Kad skapī vasaras drēbes ir jānoslēpj dziļāk, priekšplānā izvirzot rudenīgās jakas un džemperus, ir it kā nedaudz skumji atvadīties no vasaras, taču iekšēji ir tāda jauka priekšnojauta, ka atkal varēs tīties šallēs, uzvilkt miesai piegulošas bītlenes, zābaciņus un modīgi skriet savās pilsētas darīšanās. Tieši tādēļ rudens man vairāk patīk pilsētā, laukos rudens ir ražas novākšanas laiks un tam vairāk piedien darba drēbes. Un cik daudz variāciju ir darba  drēbēm?! Nedomājiet, ka es neesmu rakusi kartupeļus, tieši tāpēc jau rudenī man labāk patīk pilsēta :) Rudens man vispār patīk savu krāsu un mīksto faktūru dēļ,  ne ziema, jo tad mēs pārsvarā staigājam vienā mētelī, bet tieši rudens, kad var variēt savu tēlu no sēņotāja galifē biksēs un augstos zābakos, līdz modes dāmai uz augstiem papēžiem kuplos vilnas svārkos, kas pland vējā.

Un vai tad šādā mētelī nebūtu jauki spītēt rudens drēgnumam?!

Do not think that I have not dug potatoes, which is why  I prefer the city in autumn :) Fall I generally like because of their color and soft textures, no winter, because we mostly walk in one coat, but it is exactly autumn, when your image may vary from Mushroom-Picker in jodhpurs and high boots to fashion lady on high heels and woollen skirts, which is planding in the wind.

And wouldn't it be nice to spite autumn rawness in such coat?!

100 gadi modes, tieši tik daudz modes vēstures ar dejas palīdzību 100 sekundēs ir spējis parādīt režisors Džeiks Lunts (Jake Lunt) sadarbībā ar Viral factory, tādējādi izsludinot lielākā tirdzniecības centra Westfield atklāšanu Stratfordā, kas bija šo otrdien 13. septembrī. 

Mūzikas autors: Tristins Norvels (Tristin Norwell).

100 years of fashion, directly so much of fashion history with the help of dance in just 100 seconds video has been able to show Jake Lunt with The Viral factory, thereby launching the grand opening of Westfield Stratford City on this Tuesday 13th September.

Looking at this, I had a desire to take paintbrush and ink .......

Man jau sen plauktā gulēja zils lina audums. Šovasar beidzot pienāca tā kārta pārdzimt par tauriņu. Savulaik tas tika iegādāts ar domu par pavisam cita modeļa kleitu, taču šis fasons Burdas jūnija numurā mani uzrunāja ar savu skaidro siluetu un detaļu tīrību.

I had a blue linen fabric lying in my shelf for so long. This summer finally came it's moment to turn to a butterfly. Once it was bought with the idea of ​​a completely different model of a dress, but this style in the Burda's June issue approached me with a pure, clean silhouette and shortage of the small details.

Vasaras sākumā man pienāca ielūgumus uz kāzām. Un šķita pašsaprotami, ka kleita jāšuj pašai. No neskaitāmajiem modeļu veidiem es apstājos pie volānu kleitas, kas atgādināja man 20-to gadu beigu stilu. Tā laika bārkstainajās kleitās ir kaut kas no kabarē stila - drosmīgi, izaicinoši un tajā pat laikā rotaļīgi sievišķīgi.

At the beggining of the summer I received an invitation to weddings. And it seemed obvious that the dress I need to sew myself. From all of models I looked through, I stopped at the frill dress, which reminded me the style of the 20's. That time fringy dresses had something of a cabaret style - bold, challenging and at the same time playfully feminine.

Mani piemeklēja radošās puses renesanse gluži kā Bottičelli gleznā Venēras dzimšana (bez līdzībām nevarēju, galu galā esmu pēc izglītības mākslas vēstures un vizuālās mākslas pedagoģe) un   vairāki cilvēki mudināja, lai es neturot sveci zem pūra. Tā nu es esmu šeit, redzēs, kas no tā visa sanāks :) 

Ak, jā, es mēģināšu rakstīt arī angļu valodā, ceru, ka bargi mani netiesāsiet par gramatikas kļūdām, bet ieteikumus es labprāt uzklausīšu, jo es taču ceru tādējādi uzlabot savas valodas zināšanas!

The renaissance of my creative side have visited me like in  painting of Botticelli The Birth of Venus (I couldn't without similarities, after all I have education of art history and visual arts teacher) and several people urged me don't hold a candle under the dower (It's a latvian proverb). So I'm here, will see how it all will come:)

Oh, yes, I'll try to write in English, I hope you  don't slam me for grammatical errors, but  I'm always ready to hear from you an advice, because I hope to improve my language skills!
